Piotr Trabinski joined Meissner & Partners in September 2023 as Partner based in Washington D.C.. He has over 15 years of experience in international banking, macro-finance, financial regulation, and financial technology with a focus on digital transformation and digital money. Piotr has executive-level experience in advising on implementing digital programs, ensuring cybersecurity and risk management, and creating policy frameworks and strategies for digitalization.

Piotr has been a member of the executive board of the International Monetary Fund, covering policy issues, financial sector supervision, and ensuring financing to countries with balance of payments needs. Moreover, he oversaw Fund’s financing, operations, and liaised between IMF management and authorities of nine countries.

Piotr is a Board Member in several companies and organizations.

Prior to that, he worked in Poland’s banking sector where he held senior managerial positions in the corporate segment, while driving innovative technology projects.
