After gaining a degree in Economics with a Major in Finance in 1984, Annick began his career as a Senior Auditor with Ford Motor Cie before moving to become Managing Consultant at SCR Ltd and then co-founded Aces International-Management + Resources SA.
In 1990 he founded and has been since Managing Director of Van Steenbrugge & Associates, International Executive Search. He is also Founder-Managing Director of Accelerate International SA.
Annick is trilingual Dutch, French, English, with a good understanding of German, Italian and Spanish.
