After founding and leading several successful ventures, Allan began specializing in Executive Search, Leadership Development and Board Advisory in 2012. He has since advised boards, CEOs and senior leaders across Europe on growth strategy, organizational transformation and leadership capability — with a strong focus on Defence Industry, Manufacturing and Dual-Use Technology industries.
Before joining Meyer & Söhne, Allan established Defence Principals ApS, a specialized executive search firm serving the European defence and security sector. Earlier in his career, he built and sold multiple companies in the fields of digital services, agritech and advisory, providing him with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a deep understanding of innovation and business growth.
At Meyer & Söhne and within the ECI Group, Allan leads assignments in Defence Manufacturing, Advanced Technology, and Critical Infrastructure, connecting senior executives and board members with mission-critical organizations. He also advises boards on leadership effectiveness, composition and succession.
Allan serves as an Information Officer (Lieutenant, OF-1) in the Danish Home Guard, is Ambassador for InterForce, and an independent Hogan Consultant. He contributes actively to developing leadership and governance within both private and public sectors.
